1. Get a Swedish Hunting Permit (Statligt jaktkort)
Everyone who hunts in Sweden must have this permit – no matter where you hunt or where you're from.
How to register & buy:

Fill in your name, birthdate, address, email
– Check the box for "No Swedish personal ID" -
You'll receive a hunter ID number

Pay 400 SEK by card (valid for one hunting year: July 1 – June 30)

2. Buy Small Game Hunting Permits (NatureIT)
To hunt on public land (e.g. in the Jämtland mountains), you need a small game permit, sold via NatureIT.
