Come to us and enjoy days off with good food, a quiet environment and the opportunity for winter activities in the fantastic surroundings of Åredalen.
The Christmas package includes good breakfasts and well-prepared two-course dinners as well as free access to both of our saunas and gyms. On Christmas Eve, we set up a classic Swedish Julbord with a little twist, with many local treats from Jämtland to taste

Free access to our outdoor sauna with cold tub, our indoor sauna and to our gym.

Are you traveling here by train?
To go in to Åre and back by bus or the train is very easy from the hotel
There are good connections to the hill in the mornings and home from the hill in the afternoons
The best thing is to check www.ltr.se for the buses. Our stop is called Fjällsätra and you should go to Åre Resecentrum alt. The elevator; The WC (can't remember what that stop is called at the time of writing)
There are also trains from Undersåker station (300 m from the hotel) and then a good tip is to check www.snalltaget.se where you can see all train and bus departures.
Then it is Undersåker to Åre that you apply for and vice versa for the return journey.
If you are checking departures already now, enter the correct date as timetables change for each season.
Our Booking restrictions
50% of the total booking amount is paid directly at the time of booking. The remaining 50% is paid no later than 31 days before arrival.
For accommodation/arrangements canceled 31 days or more before arrival, Åre Fjällsätra receives SEK 0.
For accommodation/arrangements that are canceled 30 - 0 days before arrival, Åre Fjällsätra receives 100% of the booking's value..
The booking fee, which is 10% of the booking value, is non-refundable.
For accommodation that needs to be canceled after the last cancellation date, we refer to the private travel insurance.
Rebooking & cancellation protection
You can cancel your reservation up to 48 hours before arrival without a medical certificate if you have taken out cancellation protection. This protection is offered to you in connection with booking when you book with us at Åre Fjällsätra. Price for the cancellation protection is SEK 600.
The cancellation protection only applies when it is signed and paid at the same time as your booking.
With cancellation protection, you can cancel directly through your booking confirmation email or by email to info@arefjallsatra.com.
You will be refunded the full amount except for the cost of the cancellation protection & booking fee.
